LaFayette

LaFayette (/lʌˈfeɪɛt/ luh-FAY-et) is a city in, and the county seat of, Walker County, Georgia, United States. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 6,702, which rose to 7,121 in 2010. It was founded as Chattooga.

LaFayette is part of the Chattanooga, TN-GA Metropolitan Statistical Area.
